Uploading and Managing Documents
Find any document uploaded from any phase or step within a listing in one place.
The Documents tab is the central file library for a listing or buyer opportunity. Any document uploaded anywhere within the listing — through a task step, a checklist item, or directly here — will appear in this tab. It gives you and your team one place to find every file associated with a deal.
Opening the Documents Hub
From the deal detail page, switch to the Documents view. You'll see the full document list with a search box, filters, and the Upload button.
Reading the List
Each row shows the file with a type icon, its verification badge (e.g., Unverified), the workflow step it belongs to (Inspection, Appraisal, and so on), and its date. A download control on each row retrieves the file.
Filters
- All files: everything on the deal, with a count.
- Verified: documents that have been reviewed and confirmed.
- Needs review: documents awaiting verification.
The Step dropdown narrows the list to a single workflow step, and search finds files by name.
Adding Documents
Use Upload in the hub to add a file to the deal. Document-driven steps also manage their own files from their Collect tab. The Contract Documents step, for example, uses + Add document, with each document shown as a card carrying its status. Either way, everything rolls up into the deal-wide hub.
Verified vs. Needs Review
Documents start unverified. Verifying a document (confirming it's the right file, complete, and fully executed where applicable) moves it to Verified. A deal whose documents are all verified is a deal whose file you can stand behind.
Notes
- Listing media (photos, tours, video) is managed in the Multimedia step, not the Documents hub. Documents is for files.
