Scheduling and Managing Events
The Events tab is your transaction calendar. Use it to track showings, walkthroughs, deadlines, and any other time-sensitive appointments tied to a listing. Events feed directly into the Next Critical Date field in the listing header, so your team always knows what's coming up at a glance.
Opening the Events Tab
From any listing or buyer opportunity, click the Events tab in the navigation row below the header.

Three Views
The Events tab has three ways to look at your events:
Calendar — A full month/week/day calendar view. Use the Today button to jump to the current date, or the arrow buttons to navigate forward and backward. Toggle between month, week, and day views using the buttons in the top-right corner.
Upcoming Events — A list of all events scheduled in the future. When this list is empty, it shows "No events yet."

Past Events — A list of events whose end date has already passed.

Viewing Event Details
Click the chevron (›) at the right end of any event row to expand its full details.

Each event detail panel shows:
- Event name — Editable inline at the top of the panel
- Assigned To — The team member responsible for this event (dropdown)
- Status — Current state of the event: Not Started, Complete, etc.
- Priority — Low, Medium, or High
- All-day Event? — Toggle Yes/No
- Start Date and Start Time
- End Date and End Time
- Add to Google Calendar — Sends the event directly to Google Calendar
- Download .ics — Downloads a calendar invite file compatible with most calendar apps
A trash icon in the bottom-right of the panel permanently deletes the event.
Adding a New Event
- Click the + Add Event button in the upper-right corner of the Events tab.

- A new event row appears at the top of the list with an Enter name field. Type the event name.
- Expand the row using the chevron to fill in the full details: Assigned To, Status, Priority, All-day toggle, Start Date/Time, and End Date/Time.
- The event saves automatically as you fill in the fields. No separate Save button is required.
💡 Tip: The Next Critical Date field in the listing header pulls from your upcoming events automatically. Keep your events up to date so your header always reflects what's actually next on the timeline.
💡 Tip: Use the Download .ics button to share a calendar invite with your client or collaborators — they can add it directly to their own calendar app.
